Providing emergency shelter to individuals and families for over thirty-seven years.
Thank you for your past support of Covenant Shelter. The 23 families and 108 individuals you helped us shelter and house last year will be forever grateful.
But this is a new year. An unusual one at that. So, this is not your usual year-end appeal.
Unlike previous years where we made an appeal to help support the shelter by telling you about how many we helped, this year, we want to tell you about those we will be helping in 2021.
We will be helping your neighbors, your friends, parents of the kids who go to school with your kids. Many have been impacted by the virus. Some have lost jobs. Many more are in danger of losing their housing once the eviction moratorium expires.
While there may be some government help for them, sadly, many will need a temporary shelter to help them while they seek housing.
We know you have a pile of appeal letters on your desk. You may not even be able to close your drawer with all those sticky address labels you’ve been gifted with. But if you are able, we are asking you to help us help your neighbors.
If you can help- we would appreciate any amount.
