Our Mission

To aid men, women, and children in the transition from homelessness to permanent housing through the provision of a dignified, safe, and clean shelter; nourishment for body, mind, and soul; and practical tools to assist them in their journeys toward self sufficiency.

Our Vision

Covenant Shelter of New London is widely known as a compassionate one-stop resource that connects people in need with programs, services, and resources for healthy and self-sufficient living, provides clean temporary emergency shelter, transitions 100% of the clients served from homelessness to appropriate housing and advocates for social and political change.

Your support changes lives! Here are some ways to make a difference:

Many in our community face the ongoing challenge of homelessness, struggling with job loss, food insecurity, and the lack of a safe place to call home. At Covenant Shelter, we provide more than just temporary shelter – we're a springboard to a brighter future. We help families and individuals find and secure permanent housing, equipping them with the tools they need to rebuild their lives.

But we can't do this alone. Your support, in any form, directly impacts lives. Consider donating financially to provide essential resources. If you have time to spare, volunteer your skills and compassion. Gift cards to grocery stores and gas stations help families stock their new homes and get back on their feet. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Join us in making a positive impact – together, we can empower our neighbors in need.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donation makes a direct impact. Every dollar contributed is tax-deductible and goes straight towards fulfilling our mission of aiding men, women, and children in the transition from homelessness to permanent housing. Join us in creating positive change!
